The medallions each contain large hair band motifs, which are thought to represent the desire for marriage, as well as rosettes and diamonds, which are seen to protect against evil. Additional rosettes and two fertility symbols decorate either end of the field. The stepped corner spandrels and a series of ziggurats reach towards the center, displaying floral vine motifs. Delicate almond blossom secondary borders flank the graphic floret main border.
