52412 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, 03'06 x 08'10. 

This pair of nearly identical hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner feature three layered latch-hooked medallions spread across an abrashed brick red field. Simple hooked spandrels and pyramid shapes reach towards the center, echoing the angular designs used throughout. The large main border features a series of fertility symbols in alternating colors. This motif is also repeated in the center of each medallion. Panels of diamonds adorn each end of the field, while a diamond and running-water motif outer guard border frames the composition. Time-softened colors and just the right amount of age-wear enhance this charming pair of Oushak runners’ comfortable appeal.
