This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak hallway runner features three stacked lozenge medallions anchored with palmette finials floating in a sea of red abrash. The three lozenge medallions are filled with stylized palmettes and leafy tendrils in the shape of a cruciform cross-like motif. Four floral bouquets are equally placed in the open red field. The spandrels echoing the triple medallions are gracefully placed in each corner. The vintage Oushak carpet runner is framed with a compound border flanked with an inner and outer floral meander guard band. Perfect for a hallway, stair landing, open hall or long entry, kitchen, corridor, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, grand foyer and designer entryway-- or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, hotel lobby, or long vestibule.
