Antebellum Southern charm meets the English countryside in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Tabriz rug. The intricate Herati design and neutral color palette in this piece work together evoke a traditional, timeless aesthetic. An ornate allover pattern composed of blooming palmettes, rosettes, arabesque vines, and acanthus leaves cover the warm colored field. It is finished with a Shah Abbas border richly patterned with curling tendrils undulating from palmette to palmette in an elegant dance.
